Andrew Gochis is an athletic coach and teacher for Troy Independent School District in Troy, Texas. He joined the district in 2022 and currently teaches sixth-grade social studies and seventh and eighth-grade physical education. Outside of the classroom, Andrew Gochis coaches junior high track and basketball. He also serves as the varsity defensive ends coach and the junior varsity defensive and special teams coordinator at Troy High School.

Before his current work, Andrew Gochis held various roles at Baylor University. He served as an athletics facilities employee and later assisted the Baylor football team with player recruitment. His other roles at the university included working in the sports nutrition department and filming practices, camps, games, and pro days for Baylor football coaches.

Mr. Gochis also attended Baylor University as an undergraduate and graduate student. He earned a bachelor of science in health and kinesiology and completed a master's degree program in sports pedagogy.
